PiP (FOW): German 12.8cm K81 Gun and 30cm NW42 Rocket Launcher Batteries

I think the 12.8Cm guns are some of the biggest guns available to the germans in FOW outside of a Battleship support. They are a nice kit for FoW with minimum cleaning required and I am keen to cut into my lead month and small sets like these are easier to produce than say an American rifle company. The Nebs are also a nice kit with a bit more cleaning was required.

Painting wise there is nothing new. I would like to find a way to lighten up the models since I think they are a bit to dark for my taste. The dark wash on a 15mm figure can some times be a bit of over kill.   Also I think I need to work on the baess the Silfor does not blend well with the static grass.

Darra have you tryed watering down the wash ? I found this to be a good why of using a dark wash on bright colours.
