Ready to fire
A lot of artillery rolled of the bench recently for no particular reason. frist of is a three gun battery consisting for two six pounder and a twelve pounder. The models were original Swedish but were painted up to represent the Spanish defenders for the invasion of Argentina in 1807. Naturally as soon as the painted had dried Bluemoon released a cracking range of Spanish figures which may better suit.
After the Spanish comes a four gun light howitzers for post revolution American Indian wars. The Indians seem to have had bad habit of being on the wrong sides in FIW and AWI.
The Prussian/Heissans get a three gun foot battery and a two howitzer Horse Battery.
Finally the British in the Saratoga campaign get a three gun battery
All these guns need a target, so work has started on Fort Moggy. This will be the third fortification I have made for 18mm. The first was made of mud, the second made of wood and now stone.
Under construction Fort Moggy received an inspection from the commandant. |
