PIP (FOW ): painting wall

I seem to have hit a painting wall lately. Painting is being done but there is not much to show for it. There are two main reasons for this

Sitrep (FOW): March of the Fire Flies

Shermans on the move.

Dig in (FOW): 4ground terrain

Winter themed terrain

Things I am looking forward to in 2013

The title sounds suspiciously like a new years resolution doesn't it ?

mission critical (FOW): Jabonica, Eastern front 13th August 1944

Overview:

Repeated attempts by the German army to destroy the Sandomierz bridgehead have failed . Two days ago Tiger II tanks were employed for the first time in the war and they could not pierce the bridgehead. A final attempt has been ordered for today. Kampgruppe Collin from the 16th panzer division has order to link up with 64th panzergrenadier regiment and push onto Ogledow. Unfortunately during the night the Russian 6th Guard Tank Corps broke through the German lines and captured Mokre and Ponik and is threatening to capture Jabonica.

Mission Critical (FOW):Battle at Jort France 15th August 1944

Overview:

In a bid to trap the German 7^th and 5^th panzer armies in Normandy, the Polish 1^st armoured division has been ordered south to link up with the American 90^th infantry division to complete the encirclement. At 14.00 hrs the recon element of the division, the 10^th mounted rifles, are approaching the village of Jort. Their objective is to secure a crossing over the river Dives. Opposing the crossing is Kampfgruppe Wunsche consisting on elements of the 12^th SS panzer division and 85^th infantry division.
